Use this site to discover archival material dating from the founding of the college through the present day. Our collections include official college records, presidential papers, faculty and alumni collections, scrapbooks, photographs, correspondence, departmental and board records, sound and film recordings, and digital material.

From this site you can download finding aids for our processed collections. We are currently reprocessing our collections and adding them to this database; not all records are represented yet. Please contact us at college_archives@stolaf.edu to inquire about unprocessed materials, and/or to request an appointment to view materials that have not been digitized.

The processing of St. Olaf College Archives collections from 2020-2023 has been financed by grants provided by the State of Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund through the Minnesota Historical Society.
