Cast iron pleating, or fluting, iron consisting of two parts: a handled press and a base. The press has a wood handle, while the rest of the press and base are cast iron. Seven raised areas are visible on the top of the press and below the handle, possibly lettering, but are no longer distinguishable. Metal exhibits significant rusting, the base has a chip on one side, and the wooden handle displays cracks.
