A wooden rectangular bowl with two handles. On the side, black lettering reads, "A.O. Serum | Malen Kaffrind | Jud layle ruud Steeu | i gawle Selbu." "#1559 | A.O. Serum | Halstad, Minn | Wooden | mortar" is written on a white and red sticker on the bottom. A crack is present in the middle of the trough.
