A foldable metal music stand with a leather travel case formerly owned by John O. Thorsheim. The music stand consists of two pieces: an easel and a tripod. The stand's black paint and the leather case exhibit wear, and the case also has an open seam.

Joseph O. Thorsheim, a 1930 graduate of Saint Olaf College, owned this music stand and case. His son, Howard Thorsheim, a faculty member and 1963 graduate of the College, donated these items.
