A wooden black box with a hinged lid and a wooden langeleik fiddle with one string attached. The langeleik has 11 notches and a heart-shaped hole on top. There are four knobs for tuning, and the scroll has side engravings. An image depicting different caricatures is at the end of the instrument. The instrument is in moderate condition, with parts missing, and has dirt/debris trapped inside. The lid of the container is broken into two pieces, and a railway shipping label is attached to the lid.~root~>
