St. Olaf souvenir plate with colored picture of Old Main in the center. The rim is decorated with light blue glaze and golden floral designs. The bottom of the plate reads, "Made in Germany | J.C. & F.J. Couper | Northfield, Minn."

Made in Germany for J.C. and F.J. Couper of Northfield, MN. Circa 1910. Received by the Christiansens from a friend of O.C.'s father, F. Melius Christiansen. Presented to V.P. David Johnson; turned over to Archives November 5. 1975. Used in Old Main Exhibit in library October 23 to November 13, 1978. Used in Old Main Renovation exhibit in library, January to February 1983. Used in Old Main & Main Street Exhibit at Northfield Historical Society, May to June 1983. -Description taken from packaging storing artifact
