Scalloped pink porcelain plate with an image of Old Main in the center. Writing on the image reads, "Main Building, St. Olaf College | Northfield, Minn." A worn silver ornamental line encircles the image. No maker's mark is visible. "1966" and "21." are handwritten on the back in black. Cracks are visible on the back, with a larger one on the front.

This plate is from the estate of Ella Rølvaag Tweet, a 1932 alum of Saint Olaf College and daughter of Ole Edvart Rølvaag. Solveig Zempel, daughter of Ella Tweet and a 1969 graduate and College faculty member, donated this plate and other materials. The items may have belonged to Ole Edvart Rølvaag, a 1905 graduate and faculty member at Saint Olaf College. He was also an author known for his novel "Giants in the Earth."
