Grey wool hat with red embroidered "'12" on the front and a small visor. The interior silk-like fabric has a printed maker mark that reads, "HARRY B. GRESS, NORTHFIELD, MINN." with an image above of three stags surrounding a vessel. A small sticker label on the back reads, "7 1/4". The lining is fraying, and the label is worn.

Alvild Slen Sherve, a 1949 alum of Saint Olaf College, donated this grey cap. The hat belonged to her father, Theodor Slen, who graduated from Saint Olaf College in 1912.
