A black clerical gown, or cassock, lined with black silk with a button front and gathered back. Wear is visible around the neck and folds.

This ruff and gown were owned by the founder of Saint Olaf College, Bernt Julius Muus, and donated by his descendants. Forrest Brown, the former director of Rolvaag Library, donated the items to the Archives.
