Three black academic hoods: one with red trim, one with purple trim, and one with gold trim. C.E. Ward Co. produced the red hood in New London, Ohio. The purple hood does not have any identifiable maker's marks. E.R. Moore Co. in Chicago manufactured the gold hood.

These academic hoods were donated by Lars Boe's grandson, R.I. Jame. They belonged to Lars W. Boe, an 1898 graduate of the St. Olaf College and President of the College from 1918 to 1942.
