This mailing box was used by Lanny Helgen Peterson, a 1957 graduate of Saint Olaf College.
"This is a laundry box, used by college students in the 1950s to send dirty laundry home to Mom. Mom would return the clean laundry, and sometimes add a tin of home-baked cookies." -Handwritten note found inside box~root~>
