Analytical balance with a wooden frame and glass case. The balance comprises two pans for holding weight on the bottom and the balance beam at the top. A metal pillar is directly in the center and has a scale at the base. A dial for adjusting a rod is at the top of the balance. The bottom of the balance also has two dials, one for holding the pans in place and the other for adjusting the balance. The front of the glass frame slides upwards to open and close. A drawer at the base of the balance also stores equipment. A wooden case is included with the balance and houses small weights used for the balance. There are multiple maker's marks citing "Voland and Sons Inc." and "A. Daigger & Co." as the manufacturers.
