Two black metal inter-phone, or intercom, wall units with matching handsets. A dial on the front of the wall units has three settings: "TALK", "N", and "RING". Text below the dial reads, "HANG PAD HERE | MADE IN USA | PAT PEND". Both the handsets and main units have elements to allow for hanging. Cloth-covered cords exhibit fraying, and metal displays rusting and wear. Some components are likely missing. ; 2 items
Two large batteries with red, yellow, and blue wrapping. The front reads, "RAY-O-VAC | FLASHLIGHT | BATTERY | CELL NO. 2 | RAY-O-VAC COMPANY | Formerly French Battery Co. | MADISON, WISCONSIN". Wear and rusting are visible.

This inter-phone set and batteries were found in the attic of the Ytterboe house on St. Olaf Avenue, along with Elise Ytterboes's radio set. The items were donated in the 1980s by Brunhild Tetlie Sather and Palmer Sather, Elise Ytterboe's granddaughter and her spouse.
