Melius Christiansen is pictured in the center, along with an outline of Minnesota below. Two holes are on the back to allow for hanging. A Josten's sticker is present on the back.

Alice Larsen was a 1952 graduate and professor of music at Saint Olaf College. F. Melius Christiansen founded the Saint Olaf College Choir in 1912 and was its director from 1912 to 1943.
