From left to right, these mascots read: "Bridegroom", "Bride", "Korean | aristocrat", "Drum dance", "Korean flag | T'aegukki", "Fan dance", "Yi dynasty | policeman", "and T'aeguk fan". The pins are mounted to a placard that reads, "GAMES OF THE XXIVTH OLYMPIAD SEOUL 1988". Also included in the center of the placard are the Olympic crest and text reading, "MASCOT VARIATIONS | FOLKTHEMES".
