Archives Reading Room
Danish-American sculptor and professor Christian Petersen created this bust at the 1936 Iowa State Fair. It was gifted to the subject, Oley Nelson, former president of Saint Olaf College's Board of Trustees. In 2002, Nelson's grandson-in-law, Glen Fors, donated the bust to Saint Olaf College.
