This print is likely intaglio, a printmaking technique including etching, engraving, drypoint, mezzotint, and aquatint. The dot-like effect seen in this work is possibly stipple engraving.

This illustration is featured on page 209 of Saint Olaf College's '16-'17-'18 yearbook. It is possible that "S. Iverson" stands for Stella Iverson, a 1916 graduate of St. Olaf College.
