A copy and three originals of a drawing and watercolor illustrating a Delta Chi song in five panels. "ALL | FOR | THE | LAUREL" is rewritten across the top of four panels, and the song's verses are written across the bottom of all five. The song reads, "DELTA·CHI·WE·BRING·TO·THEE· | OUR·HEARTS·BOTH·FIRM·&·STRONG | FOR·ALL·YOUR·LOYAL·DAUGHTERS | SEND·UP·TO·THEE·THIS·SONG | WE·ASK·THEE·FOR·THY·GUIDANCE | WE·FIND·IN·THEE·A·REST | WE·THANK·THEE·FOR·THY·FRIENDSHIPS | WE·LOVE·THEE·FIRST·&·BEST· | AND·GLADLY·SING·TO·THEE·ALWAY | WE·EVER·TURN·OUR·HEARTS·TO·THEE | O·FAIREST·FAIREST·OF·ALL·OTHERS | TO·THEE·OUR·DELTA·CHI". The artworks are signed "DRAWN·BY·A·FLATEN·A.K.", "A.FLATEN", and "A.F." Two originals are framed, with slight differences in coloring. One of the framed originals has The Dayton Company stamp on the back. A small tear is visible on the left side of the unframed original.

Arnold Flaten was a 1922 graduate and professor at Saint Olaf College, where he established the Art Department and worked for 40 years.

"Copy" is written on the back of the copy. "ACC. 114", "#11", and "From Emilie Larson" are written on the back of the unframed original. "ver 2.0" and "ACC. 114" are written on the back of one of the framed originals. The other framed original has "Donated 6/2/11 | Ver. 3 | Elsa Jacobson | Charlston 154", "To Elsa | Painted by Arnold | Flaten | Delta Chi", and "Made for the Delta Chi Society | at St. Olaf College ca 1921 by | Arnold Flaten. | Given to Edna Johnson Jacobson ('22) and | passed to her daughter, Elsa Jacobson | Charlston ('54) in 1988. It was found in the attic of the Jacobson home in 1979 when Clarence | Jacobson died. Edna was a Delta Chi and Clarence's second wife, Evelyn Hovdesoen ('22) was | also a Delta Chi."
