A wooden shipping container with two main compartments. The compartments include a longer, narrower box attached to the back of a shorter, wider box at the front. Both compartments have hinged lids with latches. "ST. OLAF | COLLEGE | NORTHFIELD | MINN." is printed along the front, and "HANDLE | WITH | CARE" is printed on the top of one of the compartments. Several worn shipping labels are on the outside, along with a red "GLASS | WITH GREAT CARE" label and black painted handwriting that reads, "From | Norwgena | soBridgedt | tife [?]". The shipping crate exhibits moderate wear, scratches, missing portions, and rust.

John Morson, the donor of this item, is a 1992 graduate of Saint Olaf College. Morson stated the shipping container contained blueprints and plans for the College. The container also potentially transported stained glass.
