A double-handled silver porringer, a shallow handled bowl, with the dual cipher of King Harald V and Queen Sonja of Norway etched on one of two ornate handles. Three maker's marks are impressed on the bottom of the bowl, along with an engraved "B. T."

The bowl came with a small white card that reads, "Kongen of Dronningen av Norge" (The King and Queen of Norway") and an exhibition label that reads, "Norwegian Pewter Porridger | A gift to St. Olaf College | on the occasion of | the visit of Their Majesties | King Harald V and Queen Sonja | of Norway | October 19, 1995."
