Crystal plaque that features a pure gold Tang dynasty bowl. The plaque has a clear base that reads "ECNU" along with Chinese characters. The gold vase is decorated with ornate patterns and depictions of animals. The plaque is stored inside a green and golden case upholstered with green velvet. The case lid features Chinese characters and reads "Classic art collection".

"The Carved Pure Gold Bowl whose height is 5.6 cm, opening diameter is 13.4 cm and bottom diameter is 6.8 cm was unearthed in Xi'an 1970. The people of the Tang dynasty adopted the pure gold material to carve and finish the bowl manually. The force of this bowl is full of great momentum and exquisite technique, from which we can feel the confident, mentality, and elegant, decorative style of the people of the Tang dynasty. Manifold animals such as the swan, goose, mandarin duck, and deer are chiseled and carved among the decorative patterns. The curli grass, cirrus cloud, flowers, and plants with vivi(d) models and varieties, which fully embody the excellent culture of the Tang dynasty and reflect the wise intelligence of the people of the Tang dynasty. The bowl is the national first-class cultural relic. | The placing part for the entire set of artwork is metallically gilded and inlaid in the crystal with elaborate carving, unsurpassed technique, and elegant vigor.
