A chromatic pitch instrument with a silver metal back, a red and green plastic front, and a small metal dial. Along with keys, the front reads, "Chromeister's Lieder | M D" and "MADE IN GERMANY". ; 8 items
Two grey felt temperament strips, three felt mutes with wooden handles, two felt mutes without handles, and a rubber wedge mute. No maker's marks are visible. Some discoloration is visible on the felt mutes, and the temperament strips exhibit minor warping and missing portions.

These piano tuning tools belonged to Olaf C. Christiansen, a 1925 graduate of Saint Olaf College and the second conductor of the Saint Olaf Choir. The tools are in a box with "Piano Tuning Tools | (save)" and "OCC's | piano tuning | tools" handwritten on the outside.
