Traditional Scandinavian carved wood kubbestol, or a chair made from a log, adorned with floral carvings. The chair features a curved back and sides with a flat seat. The back of the chair illustrates a Viking ship crossing open waters. Below the ship is an inscription that reads, "Presented to ST. OLAF COLLEGE in memory of PRESIDENT L.W. BOE by IVER J. DAHL | Albert Lea, Minn. | 1944".

This chair was handmade by Halvor L. Landsverk and was presented by Iver J. Dahl to St. Olaf College in memory of President Lars Boe. Boe and Dahl were childhood friends in Silver Lake township.
